Always Live Joy is now offering Zoom sessions for clients who may not be able to make it to a physical session. These sessions offer many benefits for mind and body and are available in a variety of 60-90 minute sessions at the same rate as massage services.

What to Expect in a Zoom Session with Joy
Find a comfortable, quiet space for our meeting where you can use the video technology of your computer or your cell phone.
You will receive a Zoom invitation with a link to click on via email before our appointment start time. Login to Zoom and connect to our meeting. If you experience any technical difficulties, please call Joy at 503-860-3239.
The first 5-10 minutes of the session will be focused on a brief update on your current need for care and to create a clear therapeutic goal for the session.
The remainder of the time will be spent in one of the following ways:
Discussing tools, tips and solutions to empower you in clarifying what you need to reestablish a greater level of health and vitality.
You will relax and receive as I perform a Pranic Healing session based on our agreed upon therapeutic goal.
A combination of the two options listed above.
Pro Tips for your Zoom session:
Place yourself in a distraction free environment for the duration of the session. It can be helpful to notify those around you that you will be unavailable for the time of our appointment, similar to when you are at my physical office.
Have a glass of water by you. Arrive to the session with your basic needs met for (ie. bathroom break, fed, creature comforts for relaxing like a pillow/blanket).
Bring to the session any self-care tools you are already using, especially if they are supportive of your need for the session. Examples of this might be crystals, an altar item, Theracane, foam roller, therapy animal.
Gift yourself with 15 minutes of transition time after the session to reset and prepare to move back into your day.
Prana means life force in Sanskrit. Simply put, Pranic Healing is the healing of life force.
This modality of energy medicine focuses on cleaning out negative or diseased energy and then replenishing the body with vital healing energy.
The Pranic Healing methodology can be applied to general well-being as well as specific mental, emotional and physical conditions. This modality is a great and safe alternative to physical touch modalities as it can be done from any location and is offered here via Zoom online appointments.
Joy has been a Pranic Healing practitioner since 2005 and has completed all levels of training for this modality.
This service provides one of the greatest benefits that clients receive from their bodywork sessions with Joy, her presence. Not only will Joy provide presence to listen to you as you discuss your present circumstances, she often allows insight and discovery to flow through these sessions to deepen your understanding about your health and vitality (or lack thereof in some cases) and will work with you to be educated and informed in taking action towards a more vital life. So much of how we heal is by discovering the best tools to meet us at each step of our journey. Health is dynamic and ever-evolving. This service might be used as a tune-up or as an on-going tool for support.
Joy began her career as a life coach for college students back in 2008 while working for a company called Inside Track in Portland, OR. Over the next 4 years employed with Inside Track, Joy continued to train and develop the art and science of coaching. She earned her Master Coach Certification in 2009 at Inside Track. With the combination of her time at Inside Track (2008-2012) and the continuous studies of self-development spanning a time period from her early years to present day, Joy has many tools that she shares with her clients to bring greater levels of vitality...and JOY to their lives.

These sessions are a wonderful combination where clients can receive care and also be proactive in discovering their best steps towards optimal health.
